Autumn Leaves

Easy Blog Photo
One sunny day some children were playing in the flood of leaves.
The leaves are yellow like gold, red like blood and brown like mud.
They are playing, burying themselves. The leaves are gliding down.
One child is wearing a warm woolly hat.

  1. Great job Oliver. I love how you have used so many 'juicy' words in your writing. Keep up the great work! Mrs Hildred

  2. What a wonderful word picture. I would like to be playing with the children - can we go find some leaves to play in this weekend? That would be so great.

Look at the tense (past, present) of each sentence in the word picture. Is every sentence using the same tense? Try changing the tense of the first sentence to match the other sentences. What do you think?
